The two companies held a brief and warm delivery ceremony in Xamen. Wang Jun, vice president, business development of Air China Cargo, and Zhuo Weiqi, CEO of TAECO attended the ceremony.
The new modified B757 freighter has a total cargo volume of 238.7 cubic feet and a max cargo capacity of 30 tons, loading 15 containers. The freighter is optimized for medium and short haul operation with 4,000 km' maximum flight range at maximum load.

Air China Cargo and China Postal Airlines (8Y) have established a strategic partnership in cargo charter service since August 2013. According to the agreement, Air China Cargo will provide cargo charter service for China Postal Airlines with four B757-200PCFs, to fill the gap in mail express market. The B757-200PCF modified by TAECO is the first cargo aircraft based on the partnership.
As the nation's only flag cargo carrier, apart from these four B757-200PCFs, Air China Cargo also signed a contract with Boeing in March, to introduce eight B777-200Fs in the next 2 years.
