Alitalia (AZ, Rome Fiumicino)
has officially unveiled three new shareholders following their
participation in a recent EUR300million (USD410million) cash call. In
their statement, the Board of Directors of Alitalia, chaired by Roberto
Colaninno, announced Italy's Poste Italiane, bank Unicredit and Odissea
Spa by Antonio Percassi as their new shareholders. In the meantime, no
further news on talks with Etihad Airways (EY, Abu Dhabi Int'l) and their purported EUR350million buy-in has been disclosed.
