Robinson Helicopter Co is racing ahead with R66 production, and has
already delivered around 450 of the RR300 turbine-powered five seat
helicopter. Given that production figure, it seems a little surprising
to us that one export market has taken over 100 of this model of
helicopter, but our data shows that Brazil has now registered a total of
104 examples of the type.
With many countries around the world still in recession, or at least
not yet in a growth situation, it should be no surprise that it is one
of the BRIC countries - Brazil, Russia, India and China - where
expansion is focussed at present. But we didn't expect they had already
got over 100!
