U S Army dispose of CH-47D chinooks

The GSA auction website - part of the US Government's General Services Administration - is currently listing two CH-47D Chinooks for disposal, with a starting bid of $1,000,000. The pair were both built originally as CH-47C models and upgraded using Fiscal Year 1990 money, as follows
Lot #91QSCI14005101 - built as serial B540 and registration 68-15828 and then upgraded with new serial M3336 and registration 90-184
Lot #91QSCI14005102 - built as serial B651 and registration 70-15009 and then upgraded with new serial M3337 and registration 90-185
Both aircraft are currently stored at Madison County Executive Airport in Meridianville, Alabama and have no bids made against them. The auction closes on 20th December.
