Alaska Airlines has placed a firm order with Boeing for two additional B737-900(ER)s

Alaska Airlines has placed a firm order with Boeing for two additional B737-900(ER)s  worth USD192million at current list prices. With twenty-six  B737-900(ER)s currently in service and a further thirty-one outstanding options, Alaska expects to take delivery of all its B737-900(ER)s by 2017. In 2012, the airline also ordered twenty Boeing 737 MAX 8s and seventeen B737 MAX 9s.
