In early September, local aircraft manufacturer, the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), and the Fuzhou Municipality signed a CNY30billion (USD4.95billion) cooperation framework agreement in which both parties agreed to develop an aerotropolis and an aero-industrial park in the region.
