Ukraine’s State Aviation Administration will perform an audit this month to examine airline’s financial situation. After the audit, authorities will decide whether to revoke or restart carrier’s AOC. The carrier said in a statement it will restart all flights in the IATA summer season of 2014.
Ukraine aviation authorities have suspended Air Onix’s air operator’s certificate (AOC) due to the company’s financial problems.
Air Onix’s fleet comprises two Boeing 737-500s, one 737-300 and one 737-400.
The Simferopol-based carrier launched domestic service in 2012 on routes including Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Bratislava, Tel-Aviv and Yerevan. Air Onix ceased operations on the Kiev-Donetsk route in the middle of December owing to political unrest in the country.

Air ambulance provider Air Methods Corporation has closed its Ontario and La Grande bases, according to a company spokeswoman.
Air Methods, one of the nation’s largest air ambulance fleets, began operating in Ontario in October 2013, providing direct competition for Life Flight Network, which was the area’s sole air ambulance provider and which previously contracted with Air Methods for helicopters, pilots and mechanics.
Boeing and flydubai finalized an order for 75 737 MAX 8s and 11 Next-Generation 737-800s, valued at $8.8bn at list prices. In addition, the airline retains purchase rights for 25 more 737 MAXs. The order was first announced as a commitment at the 2013 Dubai Airshow, making it Boeing’s largest single-aisle airplane order in the Middle East.
Era Group Inc. The aircraft are scheduled for delivery commencing the first quarter of 2016. Era also has an option to acquire five additional S92 helicopters.
